About Virginia Homebirth Midwifery:

We are a private midwifery service which offers Homebirth midwifery care based on the Midwives Model of Care.  We accept as homebirth midwifery clients only healthy, NON-Smoking women having normal pregnancies. We provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartal care.  Many questions are probably answered on our FAQ page.

We travel to Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Surry, Smithfield, Franklin, Ivor, Windsor, Wakefield, Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, York County, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Hayes, Gloucester and Matthews and lots of towns in between.

When you enter this homebirth midwifery service, we become your advisors and consultants as YOU take the responsibility for your and your baby’s health.  You arrange for pediatric care and provide the supplies needed for homebirth delivery . You also make the major decisions about how your family and friends will participate in your homebirth experience.
