Jenny is a Certified Hypnotherapist and a professional member of the National Guild of Hypnotists.  She is also a Licensed Midwife in Virginia and a Certified Professional Midwife with the North Americian Registry of Midwives.  She has served the homebirth community for over 27 years as midwife and has been privileged to have attended over 600 homebirths.   She has experienced first hand that birth is designed to be an empowering experience for mothers and their families and has been honored to have witnessed this many times.  Having a sincere desire to assist with this process even further led her to pursue hypnosis certification.   She finds hypnosis to be a wonderful tool to assist in re-awakening and re-affirming the intuitive knowledge all women have for birthing.
She offers private hypnosis sessions for a variety of issues besides childbirth such as smoking and weight loss.  She has advanced training in pain control.
