I have been a midwife for 25 years, delivered over 950 babies, and have a homebirth practice as well as a licensed birth center in Tyler. It is my basic philosophy that birth is a natural and normal condition and that most of the time will not need medical intervention of any kind. We provide prenatal care, support to the mother for nutritional needs, breastfeeding, and preparation in classes.

We are very family oriented and encourage the involvement of fathers, other children and have classes for them as well. Other midwives, students and assistants work with me to provide constantly available support and help in answering questions and concerns.

I offer a free consultation, reasonable fees for the services provided, and classes of all kinds. I have labs, sonograms, doctors and other health care professionals as resources when needed.
