I am 41 and going to HCC, taking courses in pre-nursing. One of my classmates is a midwife intern through Amherst. She recommended a site, which I checked out. Talking to Deirdra Gillis has made me even more interested in midwifery and following a career path in nurse/midwife. I'd love to "shadow" someone to see if this is what I really want to do. (I've had 3 children in the hospital through natural child birth: ages 22, 20 and 18.)
