Avalon-A Center For Women's Health is located in West Caldwell with a satellite office in Clifton. Three nurse-midwives Donna Roosa, JoAnn Yates and Lisa Millstein are available round the clock to answer questions or to attend to the precious moment of birthing your baby. Our office hours are scheduled so clients are able to have questions answered in a quiet, unhurried manner. It is our desire that the couples birth experience be a joyous, memorable event.
Donna Roosa is a certified nurse-midwife since 1990 after graduating from Columbia University. This path was a burning desire after ten years as a labor and delivery nurse. To allow woman to control their own birth and experience the true joy of birthing their baby was possible as a nurse-midwife. Delivering babies at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair allows women to experience a safe, comfortable birth. The labor pool aids in relaxation. Board certified OB physicians are available should the need arise.
