I am a licensed Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) as well as a Certified Midwife (CM) in both New Jersey and New York State. Currently, I provide homebirth services, including waterbirth for those who want that option. I also provide well-woman care, and family planning services as well as nutritional, herbal and homeopathic counseling. I am in the process of applying for hospital privleges, so hopefully will be able to offer that as an option as well.

All insurance complanies cover the cost of a homebirth, although every insurance company and plan has unique benefits, which you should verify directly with your insurance company. If your insurance company tries to deny coverage for this service, you must be diligent in asserting your right to this type of care. Your claim will be covered, although you might have to write a few letters. Many women have had their births covered as if it was "in-network" because their insurance company did not have a midwife "in-network" who provided this service. Ask!



I am the mother of six gorgeous children, the last was born at home, lovingly into her big sister's hands. I am a Certified Professional Midwife, and the first direct entry midwife to be licensed in the state of New Jersey. I have been attending out-of-hospital births for over ten years. I have also worked teaching childbirth education classes, herbal classes, and have worked as a lactation consultant.
I have trained in homebirth, birth centers and hospital birth. I have had the privlege of working with many different types of midwives. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery.
