Mother To Mother Birth and Postpartum Support Services,Inc. is a comprehensive birth and postpartum Doula service that provides supportive as well as educational care for new mothers and their families. We provide the following services: Personal Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Babycare and Parenting classes; Birth Doula support; Prenatal and Postpartum care for mothers, newborns, and siblings; practical household support(light housekeeping, errands, meal preparations, laundry, etc.); breastfeeding support; Certified Lactation Services; breastfeeding supplies as well as breast-pump rentals and sales.

Expecting a new baby is wonderful, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. We are dedicated to providing emotional and physical support along with practical, educational guidance. Our goal is to ensure that all new mothers will be able to look back at their birth and postpartum experiences with joy and with the feeling that they were cared for with kindness and respect.

Mother To Mother was founded by Ursela Morton, a Family and Child Development Specialist. She has worked with new families for over nine years as a Mother and Baby Nurse, Certified Lactation Consultant, Volunteer Breastfeeding Counselor, Certified Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula (DONA)and as a Postpartum Doula. Mother to Mother Doulas are fully certified and insured and are all mothers. All of our Doulas have passed rigorous screening and training processes. Our Doulas have national, local and child abuse background clearances. For health safety all Doulas have current health appraisals from their physicians as well.

We provide support services in southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

We provide support during daytime, evening, and overnight hours; for part-time or full-time hours. We allow our families to set up their own schedules for times they need care and try to provide them with as much flexiability as possible. For our "Special needs" expectant moms and newborns, we have nurses who cater to their specific and individual needs.
