Homeopathy & Reiki for Pregnancy, Birth and the Childbearing years
Homeopathy is a gentle system of healing based on the principle that any substance that can cause an illness can also be a cure. Homeopathy strengthens the body's life force and reduces stress. Treatment involves giving very small doses of substances called remedies that would produce the same or similar symptoms of illness in healthy people if they were given in larger doses. Homeopathic practitioners select remedies according to a total picture of the patient, including not only symptoms but lifestyle, emotional and mental states, and other factors. Treatment in homeopathy is individualized. This system of healing is based on observing the whole person and developing a symptom picture based on mental, emotional and physical symptoms. Through homeopathy a sense of well being and balance: physical, mental and emotional can be acheived.

I am is the mother of three beautiful children, all born at home with midwives. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, lay homeopath, Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Midwifery Instructor, Certified American AquaNatal Instructor, and Children's Yoga Instructor (RCYP). I am CPR and Neonatal Resusitation certififed and regularly attend workshops, conferences and other continuing education opportunities. Some of my interests and passions are hiking, natural parenting and living, homeschooling,Waldorf education, women's issues, feminism, earth spirituality, yoga and community activism.
