I received my BS in nursing in 1982 and a degree in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 1994. I have over 18 years experience working with women as a maternity nurse, doula, childbirth educator and for the last nine years as a midwife. I have attended over 1,000 hospital births and more than 600 out of hospital births. I am the most experienced midwife practicing homebirths in northern New Jersey.

I use an intergrative approach that blends the best of modern day with natural, holistic modalities. I have an extensive working knowledge of herbs, homeopathy, essential oils and other natural modalities.

I believe that birth is a sacred rite of passage for each women and her family and as a midwife it is our role to support and serve them in this passage.

I have a special affinity for water and its benefits in labor and birth for the Mom and the baby. I own three tubs and happily lend them to moms for personal use.

I am the mother of four children, the last three born with midwives, all breastfed and raised naturally.
