We are a small homebirth practice in midcoast Maine, serving women and families within an hour and a half of Belfast. We provide complete homebirth midwifery services, including prenatal and postpartum care.  We also offer childbirth education classes, doula services, well-woman care (including annual pap smears, labwork, and menopause support as needed), and preconception/fertility counseling. We attend births together, with the combined experience of over 1000 births, and we love providing women and families with excellent homebirth experiences.
Morningstar Midwifery and Maternal Wellness Center serves as a site for women and families in their childbearing years.  We offer an array of classes, as well as on-going La Leche League meetings, and a weekly new parent group.  For more information, feel free to visit our website or call into the office.
