Madison Birth Center offers breastfeeding support through one-on-one appointments, our New Mother's Group, La Leche League meetings and breastfeeding classes. Our classes cover beginning breastfeeding and pumping/promoting milk supply.
All the educators, midwives and New Mom's Group leaders at Madison Birth Center are either Certified Lactation Counselors (CLC) or Internationally Board Certified Lactation Counselors (IBCLC).
Madison Birth Center is the only nationally accredited birth center in Wisconsin. The birth center care is based on the simple belief that pregnancy and childbirth are normal processes in the lives of women and families. Our maternity care is customized in response to each woman's preferences and beliefs.
