The Madison Birth Center is the only nationally accredited birth center in Wisconsin. We offer both birth center birth and homebirth. The birth center care is based on the simple belief that pregnancy and childbirth are normal processes in the lives of women and families. Our maternity care is customized in response to each woman's preferences and beliefs.
The Madison Birth Center offers continuous care by a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) during labor and birth. Each birth room has a queen-sized bed and state-of-the-art whirlpool tub. Water birth is an option available to our clients.
The Madison Birth Center is a community. We offer many classes, support groups and education programs aimed at increasing the health and well-being of the women and families in our community.
Aszani is Director of the Madison Birth Center. She attended Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing and attained her Masters degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She is a certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP).
