MISSION:
MAMAS is a full-scope midwifery service offering holistic, personalized care for women in both English and Spanish. We provide women with individualized, informative prenatal care, continuous attendance of CNMs during home birth and immediate postpartum, ongoing support for breastfeeding and early parenting, and gynecologic well woman care throughout the life cycle. These services are guided by a deep and abiding belief in the inherent strength of a woman’s body, mind, and spirit to birth a baby, nourish and nurture her children and take care of herself and her family. Intrinsic to this philosophy is belief in the power of knowledge, which, when shared between midwife and client, enhances each woman’s capacity to exercise her health choices.

VISION:
We envision a community-based service that supports women in making decisions about their health care in pregnancy and beyond. M.A.M.A.S. will be recognized in the community as a primary source of state-of-the-art midwifery care, which combines contemporary knowledge and skills with the wisdom and TLC of midwifery throughout the ages.
