Brenda more than helped to instill me with the courage and strength I needed to birth our baby as nature, not society, intended. What an amazing experience to ride the waves of labor and feel our baby be born at home! I wouldn't change a thing from our journey together, and know that Brenda will be asked to be there for us again in the future! We love you Brenda!!!

I always feel so good after seeing Brenda because she has this wonderful ability to focus all of her attention and energy onto me when we interact. I felt truly cared for and validated as I shared all of my ups and downs during our prenatals and through the pain and fear of childbirth. Looking into her eyes during my labor I saw the compassion and warmth that I needed in order to feel safe enough to trust my own intincts. I am better for having known Brenda Frankenfeld.

Brenda came into our lives in a very fortuitous way, and we are so grateful. When we interviewed her while I was pregnant with Shenandoah, Tj and I wanted to ask Brenda to be our midwife almost the moment she walked into our door. She bears with her an aura of peaceful nurturing, exactly what I sought in a midwife. Brenda has faith in women, babies, and the dynamic duos they create, and strives to (and succeeds in) play a role of watcher, then doer, rather than just doing.

We love Brenda Frankenfeld wholeheartedly. My 2 children were born gloriously under Brenda Frankenfeld's watchful eye and as guided by her loving touch and inspiring wisdom. Brenda is a true vision of the ancient artful practice of midwifery. I come away from my two pregnancies in partnership with Brenda most markedly thankful for the wonderful hours I spent under her prenatal care, feeling her love for my unborn babies as she palpated my uterus and taught me the glories of pregnancy and birth.

Brenda recently attended the birth of our second child, a VBAC. It was a wonderful experience. She was a guiding spirit during the journey of our pregnancy. Not only is she knowledgeable about birth, but she trusts it. Her approach to fostering a healthy birth is deeply intuitive. She's so caring and gentle that she feels like part of our family, and there's no question that we want Brenda to attend our next birth.
