I provide labor support and postpartum care for Chicago and suburbs.
I have a passion for the care of infants and their mothers during the first few weeks after birth. I specialize in overnight care. I find that mothers recovering from c-section births are most frequently seeking my services.
My goal is to help make a smooth transition for a family with a new addition.
My services vary. I assist in breastfeeding, care for the newborn, run errands, transport siblings to school or activities, prepare light meals, and light housekeeping.
I have a special love for the care of infants. I have three children of my own and have run an in home daycare for infants for 13 years. I am a certified doula through DONA. My experiences have been as a birth doula for 9 years and a postpartum doula for 3 years. I have cared for several newborns and their mommies. Some were c-section, some breastfeeding, single babies as well as twins. My passion is to help a new family transition from hospital to home smoothly and lovingly.
