I provide labor support and postpartum care in Chicago and suburbs.
I believe that every couple should have the opportunity to experience the most positive birth event possible. My desire is to assist in bringing about a calm, loving atmosphere in which a mother can labor and give birth in the way that she desires.
I inform my clients of the importance of knowledge and preparation and assist them with their birth plan. I feel that a birth plan is essential and enables me to give the optimum birthing assistance.
I have a special love for the care of infants. I have three children of my own and have run an in home daycare for infants for 13 years. I am a certified doula through DONA. My experiences have been as a birth doula for 9 years and a postpartum doula for 4 years. I have cared for several newborns and their mommies. Some were c-section, some breastfeeding, single babies as well as twins. My passion is to help a family make the transition with a new baby smoothly and lovingly.
