I offer mother friendly, evidence-based childbirth education from a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Classes are 12-15 hours in length, depending on class size, which is never greater than six couples per series. I am an independent educator and classes are held at a variety of locations, depending client preference. The cost for the series is $150 and alternate arrangements are possible based on client financial need. I also offer private classes, sibling preparation classes, and prenatal water fitness at a local YMCA. Topics for the standard class series include pregnancy, normal birth, a wide variety of coping and partner support strategies, informed decision making, common medical interventions, as well as breastfeeding, babywearing, and other postpartum issues.
