 For many healthy, low-risk mothers, planned homebirth with a skilled Midwife in attendance,
provides a supportive and safe environment in which to give birth. We strongly believe that
parents have both the right and responsibility to choose where and with whom they birth their
babies. Homebirth has many other advantages, including: an increased chance of successful vaginal
birth; continuity of care; support without medical interventions and procedures; freedom of movement
