I am a doula, childbirth educator, HypnoBirthing (r)
practitioner and lactation counselor. I attend both home
and hospital births. I teach group and
private classes. I have several types of
classes to choose from;
prenatal (series), Labor and Birth (series),
refresher, hospital prep, sibling,
and grandparents. I also
teach HypnoBirthing (r) classes. I occasionally work as a midwives’ assistant. Other services include: computerized dietary analysis, birth videography and water birth tub delivery.


I believe that a woman is perfectly
able to birth the baby she grew. I
have a deep, abiding respect for
birth and pregnant women and their
families. My goal is to give mothers
and families as much information
and support as they need to make
the best decisions regarding their
care. Women look back on their
birth memories their entire life.
My goal is to make that memory a
good one.

I am 44, a mother of 2 wonderful
boys whom I homeschool (and adore). I have been
married 17 years to a wonderfully
supportive husband (who I also adore). I work out
of a midwifery practice which does
home and birth center births.
I have also been a medical
researcher around the birthing year
for the past several years. I spend
part of every day reading
about various aspects of birth in
order that I may serve my clients
better.

I live and work in Tampa, FL. I also
travel to surrounding counties to
attend births. I have gone as far as
Sumter County to assist a pregnant woman.

I work with many different women in varied life
situations. My practice is all about helping the
mom to get the best possible birth experience
FOR HER. Each one of us is different from
everyone else. Every woman has her own vision of
her ideal birth. My goal is to get you to where
you want to go.

I strongly believe that a professional is never finished learning. Therefore, I facilitate a breastfeeding support group and take part in a lactation study group. I founded a doula support group which covers Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. I finished my DONA certification. Next, I will be completing my BA in American Studies. Follwing that, I will become a Certified Hypnotherapist and begin midwifery school.
