We believe that pregnancy is an exciting time in the life of a family - whether
you are eagerly awaiting your first baby or are experienced parents sharing
the anticipation with soon-to-be “big brothers and sisters”. We offer
compassionate, individualized care that encompasses your entire family,
and is flexible to your needs.

FREE PRECONCEPTION COUNSELING

It is important to explore your options for maternity care, as well as
nourish and prepare your body for pregnancy. We offer free information
sessions for couples or families who are planning to become pregnant.

FREE ‘MEET THE MIDWIVES’ CONSULTATION

We offer free consultations and an opportunity to meet with all the
Midwives in the Cooperative. Questions are welcome (bring a list!), and
so are family members. You will have plenty of time to gather information
and discuss any concerns in a relaxed, comfortable and private setting. After
your consultation, you choose the “birth team” (usually one Midwife as
primary care-giver and a second as her assistant) that best suits your family.

WE TRAVEL!

We serve the North Central Florida area - including Gainesville, Lake City,
Ocala, Dunnellon, Williston....and several places we had never even heard
of before becoming Midwives! As long as your place is within thirty minutes
of a hospital with maternity services, we travel.

AVAILABILITY

Your Midwife is available to you 24 hours a day - when calling you will
reach your Midwife directly. Appointment times are flexible, with evening
and weekend hours available.

COST EFFECTIVE CARE

Midwifery is a cost-effective care option. We accept Insurance and
Medicaid, and will make individual payment plans as needed.
