I am a traditional homebirth midwife serving in the Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana area. I keep a small practice to insure that "moms" get the personal attention they deserve during and after their pregnancy. I travel to your home for prenatals, birth & postpartum visits. Upon completion of my clinical training at Casa de Nacimiento in El Paso, Texas, closer to home I apprenticed with midwives in my area attending homebirths until establishing myself as an independent midwife. Prior to midwifery, I raised a family of 4 children, worked in the Natural Foods & Supplements Industry for many years and have been educated thru workshops and correspondence courses on diet & nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, flower essences, vitamins & minerals and hands on healing (I am a certified Reiki Master). My philosophy on pregnancy: Keep your mind filled with positive thoughts, your body fed with "good food", exercise and stay clear of all that is opposite. This is the "way" to grow a healthy baby!
