It was after giving birth to my three wonderful children that I found my calling in the world of childbirth and women's health. I am a natural childbirth advocate, but will happily support any birth choices that you make. My focus is on birth education and continuous care. I attempt to maintain a flexible schedule so I can be available when you need me, and always use a back-up so you will never be without care. I deeply enjoy watching new families be born, and feel incredibly lucky to be a part of it.
I received my doula training through Birthingway College of Midwifery in 2008. Since then I have experienced a wide variety of birth atmospheres, and experiences from hospitals and home birth. Each birth is as unique and special as each beautiful baby.
My services include 2 prenatal visits (or more as needed), 24 hour phone support, support through labor and birth (I usually leave between 1 and 3 hours after birth), and 1 or 2 postpartum appointments as needed. If you are interested in birth art, or any other specialties, I would be happy to explore the options with you.
