LifeSpring Midwifery, LLC - Phoenix, Arizona
Committed to healthy women and healthy babies. Dedicated to respectful, gentle, and safe birth.
I am Alison Haasch, a licensed midwife serving the East Valley. I began my work with mothers and mothers-to-be in 1997, when I became a childbirth educator trained through the Bradley Method® and then taught independently. Also in that year, I became a peer counselor for the WIC breastfeeding support and education program.
In 2000, I took the next step and became a DONA trained doula and have worked as a doula since that time. The joy of witnessing a family welcoming a new baby further spurred me on to take the next step.
In 2005, I became an apprenticing student midwife and studied first with Pamela Qualls, LM and later Susan DiSilvestro, CPM. My training was very thorough, providing me with valuable, hands-on experience for three and a half years. Additionally, I have studied a midwifery curriculum and have passed the NARM and the midwifery licensing tests required by the state of Arizona.
Also, I have been blessed with six children, three of whom were born at home. They currently range in age from late teens down to a preschooler. The birth and babyhood of each of my children have taught me valuable lessons, both as a mother and as a midwife. I share this wonderful and crazy life with my husband of nearly 18 years, Robert, who was my college sweetheart.
I am currently taking Arizona midwifery clients in Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Fountain Hills, Maricopa, Casa Grande, Queen Creek, and Florence. I will consider clients outside this range on a case-by-case basis.
