Michele has inherited a passion for serving women from her father, who is an administrator for a women's health clinic and his father who was the only OB-GYN in a small town in Texas. She is a recently ordained minister which brings her a skilled level of compassion and practiced patience. For the last 6 years Michele has been performing improv-comedy in New York regularly. Improv skills come in handy in a wide range of fast-paced, high intensity, team-based environments. After being a doula for her dear friend Michele caught the bug; she has been DONA trained and has been making labor support a regular practice in her life. She lives in Brooklyn with her wife, and is looking to adopt a child in the next year or so. Michele is playful with a team, intuitive, and quick on her feet. Whatever the birth preferences are of her client, Michele strives to support the woman's integrity and personal sense of agency.
