I am a mother of six from the ages of 28 to 10 year old twins. I have felt a deep connection to birthing women my entire life. My becoming a midwife is the culmination of over 20 years of dreaming and patience, while I raised my own family. I feel every birth is a sacred rite of passage, for you and your baby. In my care your wishes and desires will be respected while your health and the welfare of your baby will be safely guarded. I believe in the midwifery model of care, and most importantly, I believe in relationship-based care.
I have home educated my children for most of the last 25 years. I am an active member of Fort Worth Presbyterian Church, an amazing church that loves Jesus. In my spare time I love to read, visit tearooms and antique malls, quilt and garden. When I'm not at the birth center, I can be found on the sidelines cheering one of my teens, or snuggling up, reading to my dear ones
