Richelle Jolley has practiced as a Certified Professional Midwife since August of 2000. She lives in Springville and attends deliveries in homes from Salt Lake City to Nephi. She adds a very personalized touch to her professional skill as a midwife. See www.jolleymidwife.com.
Fourteen years ago my call to midwifery came in a dream when I saw myself being a midwife to my sister. Later, that dream was realized as I welcomed my nephew into the world as my first "catch". I love working with women and their families during this beautiful time and season of growth. I believe it is a time of enlightenment and development for the mother, and my focus is to encourage and support her in this journey. I believe childbirth should be a gentle, dignifying, and strengthening event in a woman's life. It is a rite of passage that summons her to the deepest level of her heart and soul, from where she is able to make a profound connection and bond with her newborn baby. Nutrition is a very important aspect of prenatal care. I encourage healthy eating and good supplementation during the pregnancy. I am knowledgeable on the subject of natural supplements and remedies. Included in my services is a two-month supply of a food-source prenatal vitamin. I enjoy developing a relationship with each client. I anticipate the opportunity to serve you, as a friend, an adviser, and a nurturing support.
